Jaycee Mya Piper was born and raised in Texas, and has been dancing since she was three. She continued on to become a faculty member and company director at the studio where her love for dance began. Her passion for dance brought her to one of the top convention competitions, LA Dance Magic, where she trained as an assistant for 4 years under some of the industry's top choreographers. Jaycee now resides in Los Angeles where she trains and performs with the Los Angeles Jazz Company. With the company, Jaycee has performed at the Industry Dance Awards, LA Pride Parade, Rhee Gold’s DanceLife Teacher Conference and was honored to be apart of Jackie Sleight’s “Full Circle” Jazz Concert last summer. She is excited to continue this new journey with the Los Angeles Jazz Company as they share their love of jazz with the dance community.
