Janaya French is a Denver native who has been dancing professionally in Los Angeles for 13 years. Shortly after her move to LA she was a part of Season 9’s top 20 dancers on SYTYCD. After her time on the show she appeared on various TV shows and Films such as; Dancing With The Stars, The Goldbergs, Glee, Teen Beach 2, Ted 2, American Housewife, CMA Country Christmas special, and one of her favorites Grease Live. She also has performed on many awards shows; the Grammy awards with James Corden, the Emmy awards with Stephen Colbert, People’s Choice Awards with Kelsea Ballerini, the CMA’s with Thomas Rhett and Fall Out Boy, the Latin AMA’s and The AMA’s with Shania Twain just to name a few. Janaya has toured the country twice with Maks and Val from Dancing with the Stars on the Our Way tour and MVP confidential tour. Most recently she can be seen in episodes of Penny Dreadful, Physical, Sex Lives of College Girls and THEM Covenant . Janaya has also become a passionate teacher at a dance studio in LA and spends her time sharing her knowledge with the younger generation. She is always continuing to audition and further her career in any way possible!
