Jaden Mooney just finished her freshman year at the University of California, Irvine where she was a recipient of the Elaine Koshimizu Endowed Scholarship for Inclusive Excellence in Dance. She started her competitive career at the age of 9 and over the years has been a stand out, winning multiple first place awards in various genres. She is extremely versatile as she is trained in all styles of dance. She has won scholarships and travelled to train with the prestigious Opus Ballet in Florence, Italy and with Escuela Cubana de Baller de Veracruz in Mexico.
Jaden has appeared in a commercial for Jerome Rousseau Shoes and has performed lead roles onstage for Redondo Ballet. She has travelled the Thailand, Norway, Sweden, and Dubai appearing in andiamo! UPTOWN. Jaden teaches and has choreographed award-winning dances for her home studio, Dance 1 in Redondo Beach. She loves being and mentor to and working with the young dancers, sharing her love of dance with them. Jaden is honored and excited to join the Los Angeles Jazz Company and share her passion of jazz dance with the audience.
